Is the MET practice test free?

The sample question needs no account. Listening and Reading & Grammar practice is free with an account, and one full four-skill mock test is free for every account, with AI feedback on every Writing and Speaking answer the first time you take it. Other AI ratings use vouchers or VIP.

Do the test screens look like the real MET test?

Yes. Each screen follows the layout of the official MET digital sample test: the top bar, the audio and recording status boxes, 4-option multiple choice and the timers. All questions are our own.

How is a METmock MET mock test scored?

Listening and Reading & Grammar show your correct answers and an estimated 0–80 scaled score (plus CEFR band) when a full section is completed. Writing and Speaking receive AI feedback against the official 0–4 MET criteria when you use rating vouchers. These practice estimates are not official results or a guarantee of your test-day score.

Is MET accepted for Australian visas?

Yes. The Australian Department of Home Affairs accepts the Michigan English Test (MET) for visa purposes under the updated English language instrument. Always check the current section minimums for your subclass on the Home Affairs website.

Is MET accepted for US healthcare licensure and university admission?

Yes. Many US state nursing boards, CGFNS/TruMerit pathways, and universities accept the four-skill MET. Check your institution or licensing board for the exact 0–80 overall and Speaking minimums.

How is the MET scored?

Each skill receives a scaled score from 0 to 80 mapped to CEFR bands (A2: 27–39, B1: 40–52, B2: 53–63, C1: 64+), and the overall score is the average of the four section scores.

Are your scores official?

No. We are an independent practice platform and not affiliated with Michigan Language Assessment. Our scores are estimates to guide your practice.
